Consumers

CONSUMER ALERT

I believe it's time the public take an active part in protecting themselves and others by providing their experiences when hiring a crooked lawyer.

When we consumers stand up for what's right and start blowing in these dishonest, unscrupulous lawyers then they will have a harder time ripping others off. After all, who wants to knowingly hire someone who will end up ripping you off. I can't think of anybody.

WARNING #1
If you see a lawyer advertising that they belong to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) you had better think twice before hiring one of these lawyers.

FACT: The BBB (Better Business Bureau) does not handle disputes of incompetence, dishonesty or any type of rip off whatsoever, unlike most other businesses. These lawyers know this, so the BBB gives them some credibility, the BBB should know better but obviously they don't care.

WARNING #2
Think twice before filing a complaint with the Georgia Bar or any State Bar Association for that matter.

FACT: Another air of respectability that is nothing more than a joke. What will happen? 99.999 percent of the time they will find no cause for your complaint and throw it out. This basically exonerates the crooked lawyer and leaves you, the foolish consumer, holding the bag, so to speak. If you can get a written admission of guilt from the offending attorney, signed and notorized with a witness present then the chances of having the Georgia Bar find against that attorney is 50-50. If they do find against the crooked lawyer then they only receive a slap on the hand and in a few short months all is forgiven and forgotten. We need to realize, for the most part, those running the State Bar are crooks (lawyers) overseeing crooks (lawyers) and the stupid consumer is none the wiser.

  1. I know what you mean about the BAR.
I filed a greivance where a lawyer broke the Ethics Rules 10 separate times. What did the BAR do-nothing!
I say vote every attorney in the country out of office. We would all be the better for it!
