An Unhappy Consumer Writes,
I hired John M. Vansant in a divorce proceeding in 2006. He demanded $5,000.00 up front and assured me that I was getting excellent representation. After I hired him and he took my money, he became very aloft with me. In court, expecting an honest representation, he ended up representing the opposing party. After court, while still in shock, I grab my file from him, he almost wanted to wrestle me to the ground. I wish he had, because I really wanted to deck him. Later, while looking through my files, I found out he had been in personal contact with the opposing party directly, no, not through their attorney but directly and personally with the other party. I spoke to several attorneys and the Georgia Bar and law enforcement but there was nothing they could do or maybe there was nothing they wanted to do. The problem was they had no court reporter present at the hearing. Although I requested a court reporter be present, without a court reporter, I was stuck and Vansant again successfully ripped off another client.
Fact #1: I believe, John M. Vansant, did in fact lie to me on several occasions regarding my representation. I can say this because I had a family relative with me at these times and they are first hand witnesses.
Fact #2: I believe, John M. Vansant, did in fact collude against me and provided information to the opposing party to help them in court.
Fact #3: I believe, John M. Vansant, did in fact lie in court against me, his supposed client.
Fact # 4: I believe, John M. Vansant, was paid $2,500.00 by the opposing party to throw my case. Not a bad take for doing nothing for the $5,000.00 he stole from me.
I firmly believe, John M. Vansant, is a very good and experienced liar. Anyone who would hire him after reading this blog deserves what they get.
I hope and pray that the truth will catch up with him and his downfall will be great and devastating and HELL shall be his demise.

Consumers
CONSUMER ALERT
I believe it's time the public take an active part in protecting themselves and others by providing their experiences when hiring a crooked lawyer.
When we consumers stand up for what's right and start blowing in these dishonest, unscrupulous lawyers then they will have a harder time ripping others off. After all, who wants to knowingly hire someone who will end up ripping you off. I can't think of anybody.
WARNING #1
If you see a lawyer advertising that they belong to the BBB (Better Business Bureau) you had better think twice before hiring one of these lawyers.
FACT: The BBB (Better Business Bureau) does not handle disputes of incompetence, dishonesty or any type of rip off whatsoever, unlike most other businesses. These lawyers know this, so the BBB gives them some credibility, the BBB should know better but obviously they don't care.
WARNING #2
Think twice before filing a complaint with the Georgia Bar or any State Bar Association for that matter.
FACT: Another air of respectability that is nothing more than a joke. What will happen? 99.999 percent of the time they will find no cause for your complaint and throw it out. This basically exonerates the crooked lawyer and leaves you, the foolish consumer, holding the bag, so to speak. If you can get a written admission of guilt from the offending attorney, signed and notorized with a witness present then the chances of having the Georgia Bar find against that attorney is 50-50. If they do find against the crooked lawyer then they only receive a slap on the hand and in a few short months all is forgiven and forgotten. We need to realize, for the most part, those running the State Bar are crooks (lawyers) overseeing crooks (lawyers) and the stupid consumer is none the wiser.
